Our Compliance team advises companies in the identification and management of risks that could generate criminal or administrative sanctions, according to the rules of attribution of responsibility of Law No. 30424 (amended by Legislative Decree No. 1352) and foreign regulations such as the FCPA, UK Bribery Act, Law 20.393-Chile, among others.

We take care of the design and implementation of a risk matrix, tailor-made and special for each company, which contains effective policies aimed at the prevention and detection of crimes. This not only demonstrates a culture of respect for the law by the company but also shows concrete actions to prevent and detect crimes, which allows the company to exercise an effective defense against tax investigations or legal proceedings against it.

We also provide advice in the implementation of Whistleblowing systems as well as in internal investigations when a crime is detected within the company in order to identify the responsible party. This allows us to disassociate the company from the crime committed and avoid sanctions.

The working group is made up of specialists in criminal, corporate, tax and labor law. Other professionals may join the team if circumstances require it.
